Was User at Southern Cross a mag?
We were staying across the road and wandered over for some country pub tucker and were delighted with the food we were served. I didnt take a photo of the Beef Schnitzel BUT it was the best Beef Schnitzel i think i have eaten. Ever. We would definitely go back for a Snitty again. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Southern Cross:
The Menu is basic, like it's 2017 who serves Bangas and Mash and Cheeseburgers, it's time to move on. The service of the waiter (who i think might be the chef) who smelt of onions and bad hygiene was rude, not very good at socialising and he was disrespectful to the bar staff. My steak was cooked rare when i wanted it to be med to well done, mash tasted like packet mash and plating was atrocious. I highly advise not... View all feedback.
The staff and management were very friendly. The rooms were spotless and the meals were delicious.
Great selection of draft beers at only $6 per schooner. The atmosphere was calm and the staff were very welcoming. Will definitely be returning.
The children have swallowed their meal and we have also enjoyed our. personal beautiful and helpful. great location too.
