Diners rave about the quality, with standout dishes like fettuccine in pomodoro and the ever-popular vodka sauce. While some express dissatisfaction with bland appetizers and occasional service hiccups, most agree that the warm ambiance and friendly staff create an inviting atmosphere. Although the restaurant has recently relocated, patrons appreciate its pleasant outdoor seating and commitment to quality. Overall, Caffe Buon remains a beloved choice for both in-house dining and takeout, promising a taste of authentic Italian comfort.
I’ve only gotten delivery so far but it’s been delicious every time! This has become one of my go-to Italian pasta dinner night places. Any of their pastas with vodka sauce — so good!! Looking forward to visiting in person someday!
This is the quintessential family-owned restaurant in NYC. The staff is friendly, the food is homemade, and overall it's a great dining experience. They start you off with a variety of fresh, delicious homemade breads such as pizza, ciabatta, and French bread. We ordered the homemade fettuccine with pomodoro and ricotta, which was a generous and perfectly cooked dish. They offer a variety of homemade pastas and about 7 different sauces - I wish I could have tried them all! My mom enjoyed tortellini with spicy pomodoro sauce, and my boyfriend had the Marsala veal with mozzarella and a side of pasta. Both dishes were beautifully cooked and the portion sizes were just right. To top it off, they surprised us with a complimentary tiramisu for dessert! They definitely won our hearts and a generous tip. We would definitely come back again.
Nice little restaurant with outdoor seating. They're dog friendly if you seat outside. Pastas were yummy. I wish bartender was better. He was not able to prepare the frozen drinks they offer on the menu. Other than that everything was great.
Beautiful little Italian spot. Home made pasta, white table clothes and the whole host of wonderful experiences. We booked for a date night on the 4th and walked down a few blocks to enjoy the fireworks. Food was delightful and appealed to all of your senses. High quality and reminiscent of our meals in Italy. Quite a pleasing selection and choices for pasta and non pasta lovers of Italian food.
Every single fish was delicious. Very comfortable atmosphere. Super friendly staff.
