Had the fried cauliflower appetizer and the Benedict. Both are a delight. I got pretty full and had to take the rest to go. The menu has changed a bit since the last time went and that was several years ago. Some items are no long on their online menu. Like they’re Buffalo seitan wings and the tater tots…. I’m hoping that’s temporary. View all feedback.
What S doesn't like about Champs Diner:
Popped in on a slow Tuesday night. Servers didn't seem too thrilled to have guests. Breakfast options are now not available after 4 but not updated on the menu. Was also told another menu item wasn't available after ordering, and while I typically can understand we were the only guests in the entire restaurant. Super disappointed in the service but the food still deserves the stars. View all feedback.
The French toast, Tofu cubes, were delicious. the addition of mac and cheese to a girl sandwich sound strange, but was really good. because the atmosphere is so friendly, we could also admire the meal of our neighbours and hope to return quickly for the kiste and waffeln. we haven't been around since the move from an earlier location. they now accept credit cards and reservations.
Champs is the answer to their need for a greasy spoon when they are vegan. the shakes are tasty, the breakfast foods are delicious, and the mozzarella sticks are second to none; but if they have a sensibility for soy, they pay special attention to the menu and keep them to the rivers and lakes they are used. among the standouts include: mozz sticks, sandwiches, breakfast food and the atmosphere in champs! the trek!
Came for dinner and tried 4 apps. Everything fried/heavy/junk and nothing that good. Have the feeling breakfast is probably a lot better.
Been craving some good pancakes for a while and my prayers have been heard! Big portion and fluffy! Will return
I was so excited to visit Champs Diner after hearing so many great reviews. You were all right, Champs Diner is amazing. The Mac n cheese is finger licking good!
