I have been to a lot of steak houses across the country.. I would have to say this is one of my top five favorites.. the bone in rib eye is incredible and the hominy is top notch.. there is nothing fancy about the place it’s an old rustic farm house but I feel it adds to the fun of going there. Went for Downtown Dining Week. This restaurant was on the $35 list, however service was significantly below that level. There was a long wait between courses, but plates were not cleared off the table until the next course arrived. Our server appeared very disinterested in our table. We had heard that this place was sort of famous and written up in Texas Monthly.
One of my staples when visiting my family in Abilene! Perinis has the best ribeye I have ever eaten Their cuts of meat are top notch.
Ask for ahi tuna, they didn't have it. That knocked out about 1/3 of the menu. Ordered mussels + clams. Clams were undercooked and didn't even open. Mussels were empties for about half of them. Waitresss was new and apologetic, I hope she finds a new job
Another try! Wasn't a good experience here…I went there for crawfish,by they said they don't have it anymore but just replace HALF POUND CRAWFISH to FOUR SHRIMP!! I am so upset!
