My friends and I had morning coffee and cake at this popular cafe and enjoyed the experience. The staff were smiling and efficient . Despite being busy we did not wait for ages to be served. The coffee was good and the muffins and berry loaf we had were fresh and appertising. View all feedback.

A friend asked me to meet her at an old fav cafe of hers... Unfortunately it proved to be very disappointing. The place was very busy and was disorganised. Our coffees came after ten minutes and one was wrong, large coffee, one shot reminiscent of warm milk..It was replaced, but by then my friend had drank hers. We ordered simple eggs on toast. My friends arrived first with cold toast, mine arrived later and was good... View all feedback.
The caffe just walked around. service was prompt and the food was delicious. it has a very casual mood with inside and outside seat. off the main beach does not mean to do so much, and the prices are reasonable. I ate there on two separate...Occasions, both great experiences.
I inquired about omelettes at this restaurant due to my dietary needs, but the waiter informed me they were not available. I politely asked if the chef could make one for me, but he ignored my request and left. I was disappointed with the service and decided not to return. I ended up sitting at the table without eating while my friends enjoyed their meals.
The experience was awful. We ordered the Kartoffel Pink with speck, but it was swimming in oil and completely inedible. My child ordered pancakes, but they were burnt black on the bottom and also inedible.
1 star for the friendly and helpful waiter. Unfortunately, this caffe used to be fantastic and we visited a few times the last time we were in burleigh vacation. but today's experience was very disappointing and we will not be back. Although, if they go to runny and...brown rührei, soggy turkish brot, speck, the earlier hours were cooked and one of these hash browns can buy them frozen and warm in many, then this is the place for them! also the hashbrown had an interesting (gross) edigtaste. only a few more diners while the caffe was packed next door and eating looked amazing. interesting that there are up-to-date 5 stars google reviews, they don't know how that is possible.
My group of 5 went to this restaurant for lunch. I ordered the veggie burger, which turned out to be two black potato rosti on top of a small veggie patty that was as thin as a pancake. The rosti tasted sour, and when I complained, I was told that it was supposed to be that way because it was fried. Unable to eat it, I was given some zucchini fritters instead, which were essentially pancakes with bits of zucchini in them. In all my travels and dining experiences, this was the worst meal I have ever had. The fact that the sauces were generic brands and the table pepper was a cheap brand further confirmed my suspicions. I believe this establishment should be ashamed of the quality of their food. Burleigh has plenty of excellent dining options, so I would recommend avoiding this place and not wasting your money. The staff was also uninterested and more focused on chatting amongst themselves rather than attending to customers and addressing their concerns.
