Grand Dynasty is a great restaurant to go with friends, family and coworkers. They have a good, friendly service; good atmosphere, elegant setting and very good Dim Sum. It’s also a good restaurant for small or big events, they can now divide the restaurant in...many different size rooms. They offer great, fresh seafood. View all feedback.
What Raven Dickinson doesn't like about Grand Dynasty Seafood Restaurant:
We had spent the day at the casino and had diligently made our donations and decided to enjoy Chinese for our evening meal. Of course the natural choice was academic. Admittedly this is a Chinese restaurant with a very nice decor. The staff was attentive yet not intrusive. The menu presented a wonder selection and the food tasted as good as it sounded. Our only negative comment is that the prices are a bit rich. View all feedback.
We had a 12 table dinner at this restaurant so quite a large party. The restaurant said they would open the door at 4pm so we could come setup but when we arrived the manager didn’t organize any staff to help. As a service based...industry they have zero concept of service. The carpet area outside the kitchen was flooded. They told us corkage was $10 but tried to charge us $30 after for liquor which was never mention beforehand when we told them what alcohols we were going to bring (even though we specifically told them what spirits we were bringing). When we argued about the bill they said they will fix the bill but in actuality they added the surcharge onto the cost of the table. Then we told them the cost of the table was incorrect and don’t treat your customers like idiots they changed it back. Such scam artists with horrible service. Food wasn’t particularly good either to make things worse. To try to milk a few hundred extra dollars for corkage after an 8000 bill was just straight up bad business. To summarize, I wouldn’t ever go back to this restaurant, and I’m shocked they’re still in business.
Our family comes here pretty often for dim sum and we even had our wedding dinner here.
Food is solidService is friendly__The restaurant itself needs a make over.
I gave this place 1 star base on my last experienceIn the past I had always given them Very high scores.
This us our 2nd time having dimsum at this location and every time they charge us for tea for children who are below 5 years old. They will sneak it in the price. When you need more water of need another service it takes minimum 5 minutes to receive service and the servers are not fluent in English so you must reiterate 2 to 3 times to be understood. Also we had a bad experience where 1 of our order didn't cone out until we were almost finished and when we said to them we wanted to cancel the order they brought our the dish and insisted we take it. I decided not to tip and the lady at the cashier cursed under her breath in Chinese. I believe tipping is optional and I do tip if I receive average or excpetional service. These guys need to know the definition of what tipping is.
