Great times with a group of 7, ordered one of the BIG set meals. Waited a long time, but it was Saturday night, so expected.. Excellent service and ventilation. Food was on par with the best of them :) View all feedback.
What Nash Hickle doesn't like about Hanwoori Korean Restaurant:
We wend there as year end lunch for our group of We ordered two combo which costs ea. The combo includes different kind of meat for BBQ and other Korean dishes. I found that Korean dishes were quite small. When I made...the reservation, I specifically asked if the dish were big enough for people. The waitress told me that that were larger size for more people, not the regular size. But they were in fact the regular m... View all feedback.
The place is clean, service good and quality of food is very good. There is abundant variety. Reservation is advisable during weekends.
The restaurant itself is not particularly big and it does get popular on weekend nights, go early to avoid disappointment. Decor is simple and pleasant although most tables are behind booths in which the serving cannot see you easily, so they installed a buzzer/doorbell on the table if you need a server. The menu is pretty varied, and you can have a la carte dishes, barbecue combinations or hot pot. They offer to cook the meat for you at the table, but I prefer to do it myself. Meat are beef short ribs, spicy pork and chicken. More is offered a la carte. An important feature of the Korean barbecue are the side dishes (there is vegetable, soup, kimchi, and pickle) and those are good but they don't list what they are on the menu.In terms of portions, they are fairly generous, and BBQ combo for two people could easily feed three people and offers five side dishes plus rice. You can re-order side dishes and rice at no extra charge. If you are eating solo, you can order a plate of meat a la carte to cook but don't come with side dishes.Service is pretty efficient and professional; no complaints. Food itself was tasty, it can be a bit salty with the sauces and marinades. Side dishes were nice, I was disappointed there was no fish (anchovies) among them. The combo is pretty good value for two people and you will come out of it fairly full for you would have consumed a good quantity of meat. In short, I had a good experience and would return.
Delicious Korean food at an affordable price. The marinated meat was great and the Hotpot was delicious. The side dish is refillable and we simply love the potatoes.
I was there last week and our family loved the food. We had sea food hot pot. I am coming back there this Sun with my friends :)
For a good shabu shabu, it is still our go to spot. However, for the standard tofu hot pots, seafood pancakes and the rest, we would go somewhere else. The wait time, price and quality is just not what it was. I miss their dessert drink too.
