Had a bad experience there some time back and told many people not to bother going there. I heard new owners had taken over so called in over the weekend for breakfast and was pleasantly surprised. The service was good, the food was very good and the coffee was great so I have no complaints at all. Good to see people who care for customers running the place now~!

Went here for a late mid week brekky. Had coffee and a light meal. All was cooked well and the portion size was good. Great value for money. Coffee was well make and to my liking. I have no complaints what so ever. I spoke to the new owner, Dave. Top bloke. He is professional, friendly and will make a good go of this cafe. Very impressed.....Keep it up.

After a recommendation, I went with 3 other family members for lunch yesterday. It was a beautiful day so the cafe upstairs was busy. We sat downstairs which wasn't all that busy but it is serviced by the same kitchen. Table service was excellent; however, the chef would not swap chips/salad for vegetables with my steak. There wasn't much else on the menu that would work with my way of eating.Others ordered Greek salad with barbecued octopus (octopus was cold when served), chicken satay burger (no complaints), small fish and chips (no complaints). After an hour and a half of waiting, 3 of the meals arrived. My steak arrived a good 5 minutes after the others, It was smothered in sauce which also drenched all the chips under the steak making them inedible. Two-thirds of the steak was medium rare (as requested); the final part was raw. So for $27.95, I could eat only about $15 worth of the entire meal. We discovered the waitress is actually going to be the new owner who will take over in 2 weeks. It could not come fast enough as there needs to be some changes. We all promised her that we would come back for one more chance. As I don't live in the area, it will be a while before I go, but my family live there and dine out quite regularly. They will be very careful about where they spend their money in the future. It can only improve.
