Ginger Garden Restaurant - Calgary

My friends led me to this place years ago when it was on the 68th Street. I was devastated when it was closed, but then I stumbled over his new location in my own quarter of a day during the trip. I was ecstatic, but skeptical,...careful, it was taken over. No! eating is still so fantastic. this place is really a hidden gem.

I was looking for a new (and close) Chinese food restaurant as I stopped going to my previous one.

Hands down the best Chinese food in Calgary. Great customer service, food was delivered fast, and the portions were generous. Will definitely be coming back!

Walked in and ordered for take out. Told the wait was about 20 mins. They bought the food to the table we sat at.The food tasted fairly good, but it wasn't very saucy. The ginger beef looked a blond colour, and had very little sauce in the dish. The wonton soup was good, although it was dripping with soy inside the wontons.Salt and pepper squid was a good size, but I didn't find it salty or peppery.May try this one again. I've heard good things about them.

100 dumplings for $20! Take em home frozen and cook em yourself! Wow! Very good food and service to boot! I was very impressed. It was your typical Chinese restaurant. Eat in, delivery or take out. Your choice. But I will go back to this one for sure! Definitely recommended!
