Midtown Kitchen & Bar - Calgary

Very cool place in the heart of Kensington. Had a great time with an old friend about some Burgers Beers. The service was great and the burger was delicious. I love her sauces! Will definitely come back!

Great staff, always a fun time, atmosphere is laid back and the prices are good. 5$ draft on Friday is hard to beat!

EDIT: The customer service we received after the contact of the manager was amazing. We have returned since then and are very pleased with the service and beer selection. I think prices could be a little more competitive, but this economy wasn't nice to one of us. We're coming back! We've been here for many years since we moved into the neighborhood two years ago. Over the different times we have visited (at least 10 times), it is on average 3 stars. We had met or missed food and customer service. We always come to the excellent events and beer they have. Today we have waited almost 10 minutes and the waiters have not confirmed us or taken our order. It ended and went somewhere else when we had to be somewhere.

Postwork Happy Hour was great. Huge selection of happy hour snacks and beer! Standard red wine was also delicious. On Wednesday they have 1/2 price bottles of wine that are of good quality and delicious a lot. We ordered: Shoe string fries 3/5, taste was great, but they were all broken and hard to eat Burgers 5/5, real AB beef burgers, large portions also tomatoes and vodka soup 5/5 French onion 4/5 a little sweet street corn 100/5 such a delicious sauce and such fresh corn beef tacos 4/5 lacking sauce but many good beef on top come back! Can't wait to try new things on the menu.

Overall a great location in Kensington! There is a few parking spots in the back which is a bonus. Overall a very nice place and well laid out. Lots of beer choices. Our server was very friendly but extremely slow. Only a couple people in the pub. My buddy said they are usually rock stars here. Must have been a bit off today.... which happens.
