Smitty's Restaurant & Lounge - Calgary

A group of 13 of us called prior to arriving at this Smitty's as it was Father's Day so we knew it was going to busy. When we arrived the wait wasn't too long so that was great. The problem with this visit was our group of 13 along with pretty much everyone else in the restaurant were here for the buffet. I was here for 2 hours and didn't even get a single piece of bacon. The kitchen staff were clearly oblivious to the fact that the restaurant was full of hungry families. Not once was the buffet fully stocked. I kept waiting in line but when I finally reached the food I was disappointed by the fact that everything was empty. This was a horrible experience and I'll never recommend or visit this location again. This was the location on McLeod trail and southland. Attached to the Rona and Walmart

Inside the Westbrooke Mall this location gets busy but never jammed!Smitty's menu offers a large range of standard fare and creative breakfast, lunch and supper plates with lots of sides incl. desserts.Conservative deco, good service and window openings shuttered full open to the mall to give a feeling of open-ness.Walmart, food court, and the Mall all right there if you need to shop before, during, or after.Good coffee, and energetic staff !

Fast food...no tasty at all.nice welcome. But process food. Too much sodium...and no flavor Menu attractive only with eyes.

This review is referring to the Smitty's in the Westbrook Mall in SW Calgary. We went on a Tuesday and the place was moderately busy. However, our server, Anita, who was on her own for part of this time, was outstanding! She kept us happy even though we had to wait. We were friends having a good visit and Anita served with skill and did her best to meet the needs of all the customers!

Good clean restaurant with a wide choice of meals to suit most customers , located in the Westbrook Mall which has many shops and ample free parking
