Contribute FeedbackAt this popular restaurant near the Saddledome, diners experience a mix of lively ambiance and culinary delights. While the country music can be excessively loud, guests appreciate the friendly service and quality food. The buffet offers a pleasant surprise with dishes that exceed expectations, although some disappointments with specific menu items were noted. Early seating policies can be a bit rigid despite ample tables, but attentive staff, especially standout servers, provide a positive dining experience. Overall, it’s a lively spot to enjoy a meal before an event, especially when one seeks refuge from the heat or fair food.
The buffet was really good yesterday evening with freshly baked oysters and great cocktail wars along with all the other tasty dishes.
We arrived at 5:23 for a 5:30 reservation and the hostess would not sit down because we were early. despite several open tables we were asked to stand aside to wait 7 minutes. at 5:30 we approached the host, who directed us ten on a table that was open and ready when we first arrived. no great first impression. we were called 3 times in the days before our reservation to confirm that we are still coming. they would think that if they are so nervous that people skip their reservation, they would be able to put us 7 minutes early.
Excellent variety and quality of food. We arrived a little later than we had hoped and there was still great selection.
Horrible service from our server, food was sub par.
I was there for Roughnecks Pre-game specials. Staff were great under the circumstances. Place was packed.
