Today I ordered 4 sausages and chips, 1 bacon and egg on toast with chips, and two scrambled eggs on toast with 3 teas. I was shocked to be charged over £53 for a meal that should have only cost around £12 based on the prices listed on the menu. I went to this restaurant for breakfast, but I have also been here for lunch before. I really enjoy it. It has a charmingly old-fashioned atmosphere (meant as a compliment) and I would choose it over a chain restaurant any day. I ordered a sausage sandwich and a cup of tea, and both were absolutely perfect.
This is a classic English diner with a sense of humor in its decor and staff. The breakfast options are delicious and filling, with reasonable prices for Covent Garden. It's the perfect way to kick off your day!
Very affordable dishes that are worth their price. The price of some drinks and the lack of toilets are a minus.
