Contribute Feedback Was Mariano Sanford at SoCal Restaurant & Lounge a mag?
We stopped for lunch as the menu looked impressive. A good selection of light to more substantial offerings on the menu. Also a good drinks menu with some interesting alcohol free cocktails and decent local beers. Service was good and we ordered salad style lunches. Unfortunately this place is right on a main road. Food wasn't bad but can't really rave about it either. Idk...I would probably go again, order something different, but I'd probably also try somewhere with more atmosphere for my style. View all feedback.

Been here a few times now, the menu has changed slightly since opening.
We were in Campbell River over Christmas and decided to try SoCal.
DELICIOUS! lolSeriously. I've been here a few times now, they used to have good daily specials until they cheaped out and limited their appy specials to the least favorite options...the good is staff for the most part.... the food is tastey and their hot wings... well I'm never excited about some bird parts in Frank's but that's not these wings, whatever the kitchen has concocted as a hot sauce is wonderful! The mussels and classic sauce is delish and those are just the appys... they also have fun live music!
It's fine if you're hungry. We were seated at a table that was kind of in the middle of everything with people constantly passing by and opening/closing the door and at some point leaving it fully open, which made our food get cold really fast. Half of my quesadillas had guacamole, half didn't. Our waiter was nice.
