Monte Carlo Restaurant - Camrose

If you want to impress visitors to Camrose, Monte Carlo's decor and cuisine will do just that. A comfortable and intimate setting allows for visiting and the diverse menu will enrich the experience. Try it once and you are certain to come back.

This restaurant has been around for a long time and always has great food. We have been here many many time and still come back for those great tastes that the chef puts out. My favorite is the crab, actually all the seafood dishes! The house dressing for their salads is pretty wonderful too! Great for all occasions too. Large or small groups!

Time was when if you didn't book you couldn't get in on a Friday or Saturday at peak time. However when I went this time it was relatively quiet. Whilst the food wasn't bad it wasn't exactly exciting either. My steak sandwich was rather pedestrian with rather bland slightly chewy meat and somewhat watery mixed vegetables. If they could afford a trip to Europe trying the steak sandwich at the Bolton Arms, Downholme, North Yorkshire would give a clue in the search for excellence.With Stockmens Chophouse and Browns Social House in particular offering upmarket competition perhaps it's time to be more adventurous and take back the high ground once occupied by this restaurant. How about steak with foie gras, roast belly pork, chicken with dates soaked in brandy and cream.......

We celebrated my mom's birthday and we were very impressed. The food was excellent...my favourite was the pizza but the lasagna was a very close second. We had a number of young kids with us and there were no complaints from anyone around the table (which is a tough accomplishment). The service was prompt and everyone was very kind. To top it off, the desserts were delicious! Monte Carlo's had delicious food, pleasant service, fun drinks, and decadent desserts...I would definitely come back!

You can never go wrong for the quality of food that you get at this restaurant! The steaks are always done to perfection and the calamari is among the best I've had among my many travels.
