What R doesn't like about The Green Front:
I am unable to provide a current evaluation of this restaurant, but in the past it was a sketchy establishment located on a side street. It was not a place you wanted to visit if you weren't prepared to get into a confrontation. It has been about 60 years since I last visited Canandaigua, and I hope the new Green Door is an improvement over the old one. I will give it 3 stars based on that hope. View all feedback.
Driving through and stopped for the night nearby, our only disappointment is that this place is not close to home. The Porchetta Sammy was deliciously unique and the cheeseburger all the way was unusual, huge and very good! Not too loud, fun atmosphere, friendly service, would highly recommend!
Pub Food is plentiful and the special menu items are delicious. The wings are simply outstanding, and perhaps the best in Canandaigua. And although cocktails can be made to order, the beer choices make the Green Front a great choice for ale. A local favorite, definitely worth a visit.
Absolutely love this place! It's perfection! Five years ago while passing by Canadaigua we stopped here randomly to get some food. We got the chicken wings, which were a great size, perfectly crispy, and very flavorful. We decided to come back to Canadaigua this year from Canada just to have these chicken wings again, and they did not disappoint! The beer list is amazing, and The service is out of this world! Our server was so kind, informative, and helpful. We felt so welcomed here, and left so full and so happy! Can't wait to come back in the future! This spot is a must try!
Sat here and had drinks and appetizers. Great place. Staff was awesome!
This is my first time here, and let me say that this place definitely is a place to visit. We got the garlic pizza, and fried pickle chips which were delicious. The staff were really nice thank you Kait. The environment was clean, and we sat next to the window. 10/10 would recommend!
