I arrived about an hour early for my booking and asked to set up the tables. I was very warmly welcomed by all those who I also spoke and all were so helpful. I was even offered 2 options for seating depending on what the big party (including a small child) fit me. the food was brought out perfectly in the time with our evening and we were very well looked after all night. all staff were polite, friendly and went the... We had one of the set meals and every dish was delicious! The service was great, friendly and helpful with our small children. We will absolutely be back best meal we've had in a long time!
The restaurant has beautiful decor, but the staff's service can be inconsistent. The biggest issue is the noise level in the restaurant. We ordered a specific menu item, but received a different one instead. Overall, it was not a great experience due to average food quality.
The portions were very small for a party of six. The service was incredibly slow and none of the servers knew where our food was going. Multiple drinks kept being brought out but the food arrived slowly and sporadically. The chicken dish in the set meal was described as tasting like dog food and no one touched it. Overall, we were very disappointed.
We arrived on time and were greeted by a waiter who directed us to a table in the bar area and instructed us to wait there. He handed us the menus rather ungraciously, but we managed to order our drinks without any issues. Another staff member took our order and everything was fine. However, when the waiter returned after a couple of minutes to take our order, we asked for more time to decide, which seemed to upset him. Despite this, we placed our order and proceeded to our table. The food turned out to be excellent, so perhaps a 2-star rating is unfair. However, the waiter's behavior marred the evening. When my daughter-in-law wanted to order dessert, he rudely informed her that the kitchen was closed at 9:10pm, but another waitress later told us that desserts were available until 9:30pm. We ended up having dessert, which was also delicious. Nevertheless, my wife was so appalled by the waiter's attitude that she vowed never to return, despite the food quality. In my opinion, he was the most rude and unpleasant person I have ever encountered in a restaurant setting. His demeanor made Basil Fawlty seem like an amateur in comparison.
First visit tonight for my birthday meal and very nice. Clean, nice decor and toilets. Staff were pleasant and service quick. They clearly work very hard. Food: prawn crackers, pork lettuce wraps, prawn toast and vegetable spring rolls to start. All very nice. Main meal highlights were crispy beef, egg fried rice and sweet and sour king prawns. What we couldn't eat they packed up for us. Bottle of white wine was lovely. Busy trade but not loud.
