While some guests complain of poor service, lackluster sushi, and high prices, others praise the atmosphere, friendliness of staff, and delicious food. Highlights include bento combo boxes, fantastic hot sour soup, and prompt service. Despite some inconsistent reviews, many guests appreciate the warm staff and tasty dishes, especially during lunch specials and bogo deals. Dining indoors may be hit or miss due to potential temperature issues. Overall, Tasu offers a variety of options and experiences for sushi lovers, with both pros and cons to consider.
The service at this restaurant was excellent, the food was fabulous, and the prices were great! We were pleasantly surprised by how warm it was inside when we arrived, and it only got hotter as the dinner rush began. It seemed like maybe the air conditioning wasn't working properly or wasn't turned on that day. I ordered the Ramen Miso soup, which was delicious and came in a large portion. Thankfully, they provided to-go containers. We also shared the lettuce wraps as an appetizer, which were surprisingly tasty and also healthy.
I had been hearing about Tasu from my friends for a while and finally had the chance to visit for a surprise birthday dinner party. The staff at the restaurant were prompt in taking our drink and food orders for our group of 8, and they checked in on us regularly throughout the evening. Everyone in our group received their orders correctly and did not have to wait long for refills on drinks. While everyone else ordered sushi and loved it, I tried the chicken hibachi and found it to be delicious. It was a fantastic dinner to celebrate our friend's birthday and I am looking forward to coming back again.
Pretty good lunch. The hot sour soup was fabulous! The sushi had a great presentation but wasn't as good as it looked. Our pad Thai tastes wonderful but we asked for it to be spicy and it didn't have any spice to it. Bummer. Our server and a chef from the back with his adorable baby were some of the nicest people I have ever experienced. They alone were worth the visit.
First time eating at Cary location but the food was excellent. I ordered chicken pad thai and sushi. Sorry, no pad thai pics...I put a hurtin' on it!!
My boyfriend and I sat outside at this restaurant and had a great atmosphere. Our server was very friendly and attentive. The 4 different sushi rolls we ordered were amazing! Plus, you can't go wrong with the buy one, get one free deal!
