Siar Restaurant Bar - Castlebar legal

The food in the restaraunt was top notch, a family group of us ate in it our first night stay in the Ellison and ended up cancelling another reservation we had elsewhere to eat in Siar for the night too as it was that nice. The menu had plenty of choice and between us all on both nights we had chowder, goats cheese bourbons, duck starter, prawns and mains including fish and chips and steak (highly recommend both), duck, chicken, tikka masala and salmon! Mashed potatoe served on the side was amazing and the portion sizes were all massive. Highly recommend this restaurant

I had just had so good experiences in the siar restaurant bar in the ellison hotel! we have let ourselves in for a bowl of homemade jam and homemade tasty brown brot. the ambiente, the greeting, the staff and the eating were excellent! a visit is really worth when they are in castlebar. highly recommended!

A week in this hotel. had dinner last night. the food is delicious and the service was also excellent. not too busy when I was there when I booked it early. would be eating again. the desserts are also delicious.
