Some of the best food I've ever had. I'm not a picky eater the least, but I'm an expert in culinary art, and this place takes absolutely your tastes on a trip. The creativity of the still siplistic menu, mixed with locally grown ingredients and relaxed atmosphere, makes it an absolute must in the Charleston area. View all feedback.
What Toni Mraz doesn't like about Xiao Bao Biscuit:
The food was okay but overpriced. We ordered papaya salad, dumplings, shrimp noodle, and Japanese pancake. Japanese pancake and papaya salad were really tasty. The dumplings were $11 for 4 dumplings and the shrimp noodle is meant to be cold but the noodles themselves tasted hard as if they were undercooked. Definitely a good spot if you?re looking to try out different Asian food dishes but you may be disappointed if... View all feedback.
Ate here because several natives said it was one of the best places to eat in charleston. space is quite small with inside and outside seat. we were at 1730 a.m. on Monday. at 6 a.m. it was full. we had a big group, but could sit together. family style is served. we ordered everyone to eat and eat. our favorites were the pork noodles (we have 3 of them), the okonomiyaki (a Japanese cauliflower) and the brussel sprouts. but everything was fantastic. there are very few parking spaces. it is mostly street parking. service was excellent.
The best dinner in the city of charleston I would like to admire other dishes in this restaurant. also they get a bang for their buck and quality food I will waste my money with this restaurant every day. cool headed professional staff also. and the way they takeout is so beautiful that I push my food right on my teller when I come home. very humble natural atmosphere no television.
A nice culinary experience, the menu is limited, but don't let it deter. the dishes they offer are tasteful and delicious. valentina our server was gracious and attentive. miles the barkeeper crafts a really delightful cocktail, the petra added an amazing taste profile to our meals. the restaurant itself is original, comfortable and full character. we'll be back soon. thanks to the entire staff
Amazing Asian food! the okonomiyaki was one of the best Asians we had since the move to America. the personal was great and gave great recommendations. Edit: return to dinner as we loved eating and as great as the first visit.
The Okonomiyaki is a stand out dish and warrants a 5 star review alone. We also tried the dumplings and papaya salad which did not reach the same heights.
