I love 300 East, it's one of my favorite restaurants in Charlotte! Their food is incredible. My go-to order for lunch is the ahi tuna salad and French onion soup. And I always make sure to get the Wong cocktail for drinks. View all feedback.
What Carolyne Zieme doesn't like about 300 East:
Made a reservation online, just in case, but didn’t need it really. We were sat right away in the upstairs area. I’ve always wanted to come here, I love the idea of a house turned restaurant. The place was cute and dimly lit, great date night spot. We got the shrimp cakes to start and I got the shrimp blt for my meal. Everything was wonderful, I only wish the blt was little saucier or at least came with a sauce to di... View all feedback.
You can never go wrong with 300 East. The service and food are always excellent every time we visit. This time, we had a business lunch in Elizabeth's section and it was perfect.
300 East is a favorite of ours! The food is delicious, and they typically have a seasonal menu so there is always fresh, local dishes to try. Their COVID 19 response is great and we felt very safe we ate outside at spaced apart tables and all the servers were wearing masks. There is hand sanitizer when you check in and they have adjusted the check in table to allow more space. Overall it did not take away from our experience if anything it showed what true southern hospitality this restaurant offers!
My husband and I had a wonderful time at this restaurant. The food was delicious and the atmosphere was fantastic. Our server, Megan Bella, was very friendly and knew the menu well. We had a great experience and highly recommend giving this place a try. If we could, we would give it 8 stars!
This is a charming spot to enjoy a meal! I tried the black bean chicken tortilla and it was incredibly delicious!!! Seriously, amazing. I definitely recommend this dish. I ordered a lemonade to drink, but unfortunately, I didn't really like it. My friend had the pita bread and it was top-notch quality.
I went to 300 East after visiting Hydrate Medical next door for an IV drip and decided to pick up dinner. The chicken salad and pita in the photos below served as my driving snack since I missed lunch. The chicken salad was just okay; it lacked seasoning and was rather bland with just chicken, mayo, and celery. I ordered the Salmon with Kale and brown rice for my husband, who found the salmon to be bland as well, but he enjoyed the Kale. For myself, I ordered the shrimp cake entree, which came with mashed potatoes and green beans. I was surprised to find that the entree only included one shrimp cake at the price point. Unfortunately, the shrimp cake, mash, and green beans all lacked flavor. The green beans with tomato dressing were the one highlight as they awakened my taste buds. Dessert was an ice cream cake with two chocolate cookies and coffee ice cream, which was good, although the cookies were too hard. Overall, I was not impressed. The portion sizes were small for the price paid, and the food was lacking in flavor.
