I’ve driven past Yama for years but never went. A friend recommended i try it— glad she did! I was impressed by the quality of fish… fresh with a nice variety. They didn’t overwhelm you with too much rice either. Our server Christine was very knowledgeable about the menu and sake. I will return! View all feedback.
What Carleton Lesch doesn't like about Yama Asian Fusion:
terrible experience. inacceptable portion for $30 dinner entrée (Tv-Dinner size) with small garnels and tiny steak pieces that were not cooked for the test that was requested. a tasty cocktail that may spoil lychee garnish. ingwer juice in fried sushi roll container made it soggy and rough. at least 10 minutes to order. manager is rude and not helpful. spend their money elsewhere better hibachi at pisces. The sushi is good, but it's better somewhere else. The veggie tofu teriyaki is delicious, recommended for the vegetarian?
The food was amazing. Very fresh sushi! This place is highly recommended and we will be back.
Terrible experience. Unacceptable portion for $30 DINNER Entrée (Tv-dinner size) with small shrimps and tiny pieces of steak that were not cooked to try that was requested. Awful tasting cocktail may spoil Lychee garnish. Ginger juice in fried sushi roll container made it soggy and rough. It took at least 10 minutes to have taken orders. Manager is rude and not helpful. Spend your money elsewhere better hibachi at Pisces.
Absolutely amazing sushi. The rice was perfect and the fish melted in my mouth like butter. The home made ginger dressing for the salad was spot on and the calamari wasnt heavily breaded just like I like. My taste buds are happy!
The service was great. The food lacks the 'wow ' factor. The rolls are good, but very basic. The hibachi was bland. I would agree with others the food is fresh. The atmosphere is good.
