Jade Garden Restaurant-Tavern - Chatham

We have ordered the exact same take out meal for our family a few times a year, for several years. 2 substitutions and no mushrooms. Tonight they suddenly could not accommodate; we would have to choose 2 changes only. For a family that dislikes seafood and mushrooms, this left no options but to choose a different Chinese restaurant. Take out is better than eating in, as the washrooms are dilapidated and don't smell clean.

We have sampled Chinese Food in many cities in both Canada & the US. This is "hands down" the best Chinese food available! Every menu item we have tried, has exceeded our expectations. We always recommend it to friends and take visitors there for Chinese food. It is usually busy with take-out orders because the quality of food is so well-regarded.

The Jade Garden is tucked away in a small shopping plaza, so you could easily miss it. The food is served promptly, the wait staff is attentive and the food is very good.

The Jade Garden has very reasonable prices, especially on their combination lunches/dinners. We also had no difficulty ordering dishes without onions as my wife is allergic to them. Their food at times tastes warmed over or overcooked, but in general it is fine. Their spring rolls are excellent as well as their Soo Guy. The servers have a good command of not only the English language, but also the humor as they well. I personally found it a very adequate place to take friends and in particular my father who really liked it.

My wife and I chose to eat here as recommended by others . It did not disappoint , we ordered the dinner for 2A and added beef ding and Singapore Noodles with chicken .It was delicious , the vegetables in the dishes tasted very freshly cooked and the flavour of the curry in the Singapore chicken was amazing with just a hint egg , yummy .The service was great , food was ordered quickly and rolled just expected from the kitchen .Moderately priced ,Very satisfied !
