Not what you would expect in the middle of Chatswood! Very tasty food, fairly generous helping, very cheap price. Not as good as Me Oi in Strathfield but still half the price which you would not expect in Chatswood. Hidden away just off Chatswood's Victoria Street, it is a treasure to find. Always wonder how in the super competitive Chatswood food scene does this place survive for so long. Every time I go, the food is not particularly great, nor is the service, and prices is not that cheap. This time was no exception, the broth to my special beef Pho lacked depth. *1st time visit* Was very busy when we arrived-good sign Their beef noodle soup (pho) was soooo yummy meat was rare and tender.
This is my favourite casual Vietnamese eatery. I'll drive 30 minutes to have their Grilled Pork on Vermicelli Salad.
Was skeptical to eat here, but this restaurant was the nearest, which had the crispy chicken in her menu. The other place in Zitonggrove was actually closed on a Sunday! Grief I have, I have the snack, she explained that it would be 10 minutes and it was ready in time. Efficiently packed and the Wartestaff was friendly despite the comments from other reviewers. Maybe different waiters / treatment after eating in or to take away. Grief The chicken was not as crispy as other places, but could be because it was packed in the same containers as the egg noodles - the steam could have made it softer. It definitely tasted as it should and was pleasant to my friend (I'm still scarring from my food poisoning from the chicken). Grief The egg noodles had no taste, but luckily the soup was well seasoned - not too strong and the fish sauce was served. They delivered me with Chili, but unfortunately not enough chili was enough. Not bad, I definitely enjoyed the egg noodles, if there is also $ 14, if it has to try elsewhere when it would be cheaper.
