We really enjoyed our stay here. The location is an ideal base for exploring the loire chateaus, and the gem of Chenonceau is within walking distance. Our prestige room is nice, although not without fault. It's very French if you know what I mean and this is certainty not a criticism. Very comfy bed. Bathroom is adequate. Service extrêmement froid et impersonnel. Salle dans la même lignée que le service. Plats insipide répétitif sur le coulis de petit pois ( amuse bouche et sur le plat). We stayed here for 2 nights and ate here the first night. The staff were amazing. The food was excellent. We would have loved a bigger menu so we could have eat...

"The entire experience at Auberge du Bon Laboureur was sublime. The service was excellent and yet comfortable, not pretentious. We felt like we were being entertained in a private home. It was just so lovely, We took our aperitif in the bar, then moved to the dining room. There were several taster surprises from the chef. The menus was a perfect selection with an emphasis on locally sourced products. Every bite was perfection. I tried the chef’s signature dessert. It was made of parmasean cheese among other wonderful things and was served with a small lightly dressed arugula salad which perfectly balanced the tart yet rich dessert. I left the property determined to return for a longer stay and several nights in that’s restaraunt!"
