Dinner was great and so was the delightful company. Drinks at the bar and most of supper were served by the spectacular Simone’. We had the fillet steaks, duck and fish. Highly recommend it. View all feedback.
What Swale64 doesn't like about The Brasserie At Crewe Hall:
The brasserie was the only place to dine during our stay. Breakfast was the usual buffet but served from behind screens. The choice was reasonable, and the hot food was indeed hot. Dinner was advertised as fine dining but that is a complete misnomer. The... View all feedback.
Came here as part of a spa lunch had sandwich and soup. Nice food no issues. Good service. Great atmosphere and clean venue.
Service and food were both excellent, we had a quiet table which gave us a chance to chat, very friendly and helpful wait staff, all with a smile and responded right away for any request. Atmosphere was relaxed but professional and range of food for each course gave us plenty of choice.
We had our works Christmas party at Crewe Hall and I hope we never go back! There was 25 of us and they split 10 us onto a different table which was the complete other side of the room our colleagues. They had clearly overbooked the night so the rows of tables were that close together you could get passed people and when you asked to get passed we were met with the fact they couldn’t move their seat in any more so ended up a stand off! The food was okay but for £65 per person I would have expected better. The bar was ridiculous. Only 1 member of staff who knew what they were doing out of 3 people and the other 2 were young lads that looked like they had been hired for the night. That slow took me over half an hour to get a drink. If you are thinking of having your Christmas party there I would avoid!
We booked our Christmas party at Crewe Hall for tonight (December 23) and I'd have to say it was the worst Christmas party we have had in the last 20 years. Every time we went to the bar took over an hour, the service was so slow thay must have lost thousands in sales. There was only one lady behind the bar that had any sense. The bar manager came and saw what was going on and walked away. Should be sacked as absolutely useless. Did not pay that sort of money to spend all night at the bar waiting to get served. Also never seen so many people using drugs in the toilet. Never to be revisited again. I will be in touch with Crewe Hall on Monday
Recently went to the Frozen afternoon tea experience. The Frozen entertainment was fantastic, the children really enjoyed it. The afternoon tea was very disappointing. We paid £40 per adult and £25 per child. The cups and glasses were filthy. We were given a cup of tea and then had to prompt a server to provide us with a pot of tea as no one bothered to top us up. The tiered food display was unnecessarily huge and towered over the table, not an issue but not very aesthetically pleasing. The table was massive and we were sat quite a distance from each other. We had to rearrange ourselves. None of our requirements that had been communicated ahead of the event had been listened to. The children’s sandwiches came with tomatoes even though we had requested them without. I had specific dietary requirements. They just removed the items with no alternatives provided. The adult sandwiches were very disappointing with not much filling. Too much sweet food and not enough savoury in my opinion. The scones weren’t very nice but the cakes did look well made. The children’s cakes were lovely, especially the Olaf chocolate pot which was a nice touch. I feel that the experience did not reflect the price and we left feeling very underwhelmed. We have had better and cheaper afternoon tea at a local cafe.
