Contribute FeedbackJefferson Tap Grille offers a neighborhood sports bar vibe with friendly staff and good wings. While some reviews mentioned overpriced drinks and lackluster food, others highlighted the great atmosphere and solid bar food options. The Mizzou alumni bar upstairs was disappointing for some fans, but the downstairs area has potential. With accommodating staff, dog-friendly policies, and tasty menu items like buffalo chicken sandwiches and bacon jam burgers, this spot has a loyal following. Overall, Jefferson Tap Grille provides a chill atmosphere for watching games, enjoying good food, and hanging out with friends.
I was in town for a work trip and was craving some wings, beer, and football. I got everything I wanted and was very happy with my experience. The atmosphere of the bar was cool, like a cozy corner bar in a bustling city. The service was excellent and the food was delicious. The wings were flavorful and a nice size (the hot flavor had a good kick to it). Overall, I had a great time and would suggest this spot to anyone in search of a laid-back bar to relax, enjoy some food, and have a few drinks.
Decent selection of beer. I got the Deschutes Porter in a can. Not a lot of places offer porter. We had a very good Bavarian preztel which was large enough to serve 4 people. Came here to watch a game. Service was a little slow but there were lots of people in the bar so it was to be expected.
Fantastic local restaurant that offers a refreshing change from the usual "west loop" crowd.
The portions at this restaurant are very generous and the staff is very friendly.
The absolute best food! It's a bar! How can the food be so good? Well, it is! You can't go wrong! Best burgers, tater tots, salads in the city!
