Delightful house I enjoy once or twice a year, which is not enough. The long-time owners have set a standard that is well defined for hospitality, service, setting and cuisine. The table we were given was against a wall and kinda tight next to our neighbors on both sides vs being out in the beautiful courtyard amidst other new friends whose bottoms wouldn't have jarred our glasses as they walked to and fro. What mikef doesn't like about Piccolo Sogno:
Everything about piccolo Santa was amazing! It was the first time to Chicago so obviously the first time is this restaurant restaurant So sad that it probably be a long time before we go back because we’re from Boston One of the thing that’s hard to accomplish in a restaurant is the ambience. You can have great food, great service, etc. but ambience is something that’s often hard to create. I felt I was at a party or... View all feedback.
Ribeye was very fatty and drinks were very expensive.. outside seating was very cool vibe.
Its been a while since eating here. was very disappointed with the menu selection, the food quality, and service. We were constantly being rushed. Hadn’t gotten 1/2 way through appetizers and they started clearing plates and food away, constantly rushing through coarses. the food quality was the most disappointing, the food was very subpar. I could’ve made a better meal. Ravioli was frozen, Cacio E Pepe was like noodles with butter, and it just was very basic, no flavor. Chicken Melanese greasy. Our server was nice but inattentive, and uncomfortably rushed us. So many other restaurants with better food and service. Skip it. this used to be a favor of ours. Sad to see it go doen the tubes, very disappointing.
I am never let down when I dine at Piccolo. They have creative daily specials in addition to their regular menu, and I love everything about this restaurant.
I absolutely love Piccolo Sogno. They serve the best Branzino in Chicago, and their beet salad is fantastic. The service is always top-notch, with everyone working together as a team to take care of you. They provide non-stop service, and their garden is one of the best in the city.
This restaurant is our favorite spot. We have visited many times for special occasions, including our anniversary celebration. The food was outstanding and the service flawless. We adore the charming outdoor terrace, which offers a beautiful and peaceful atmosphere.
