What Peter Phillips doesn't like about Constitution:
This used to be a proper old boozer with carpet, full of locals. Now it's been poncefied with stripped wood and the rest, hardly anyone in there on a Friday night. How did that refurb go? Like the locals, I'm afraid I won't be back. View all feedback.
The bar was fantastic with a good selection of drinks at very reasonable prices. I had no complaints at all.
This charming neighborhood pub offers a wide variety of beers. I did not try the food so cannot provide a rating for that.
The service is great, the beer is delicious, and you can pay with a card. The ambiance is also very pleasant.
Absolute shambles. Booked a table for 4, went in and told they didn't have the booking. When proved there was a booking, they told us they would find a table Then, completed ignored us. Not interested in customer service.
This used to be a great local pub. The current manager(ess) is unfriendly, verging on the rude. I consider the prices to be on the high side, even for SW1. The food is very average, clearly frozen, and no better than your typical Wetherspoons. Zero atmosphere. The only saving grace is the lovely barman, James.
