What Peter Phillips doesn't like about Constitution:
This used to be a proper old boozer with carpet, full of locals. Now it's been poncefied with stripped wood and the rest, hardly anyone in there on a Friday night. How did that refurb go? Like the locals, I'm afraid I won't be back. View all feedback.
Absolute shambles. Booked a table for 4, went in and told they didn't have the booking. When proved there was a booking, they told us they would find a table Then, completed ignored us. Not interested in customer service.
This used to be a great local pub. The current manager(ess) is unfriendly, verging on the rude. I consider the prices to be on the high side, even for SW1. The food is very average, clearly frozen, and no better than your typical Wetherspoons. Zero atmosphere. The only saving grace is the lovely barman, James.

Visited at 3pm on a Friday. We wanted fish and chips had already brought two drinks and the Austrian bar lady was so rude and abrupt. Unbelievable negative attitude. No reason for it. Avoid.
I haven't been here for quite a while. many years ago it was a favourite. Now it seems back on form.
