The restaurant is in a fantastic location in the City, near Bank and Moorgate Underground stations. It's housed in a beautiful old building and provides a perfect setting for a successful one-day seminar. The added touch of early Christmas decorations added to the charm. The food was excellent throughout the day, and the drinks reception in the club room in the evening was very enjoyable.
I don't usually visit London or our Institute, but I had the opportunity to work and dine here after meetings in the City. I will definitely be coming back – the experience was excellent!
Better to go to a bar to get quality good wine, otherwise nice building nice layout of tables, food okkK etc
This recently opened club restaurant in the basement of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in Moorgate provides good food with a different atmosphere from other places in the City ...btw the picture provided above not mine with white linen table cloths etc is NOT what it is....Its more like a BA Gold card lounge but much more tasteful with better food. So the atmosphere is relaxed, there are both for drinks and conversations which cant be overheard with a mixture of sofas and seats. Three of us had a late lunch there ...we met through business one of them many decades ago, the other more recently...he is a Canadian living in Budapest for a social lunch ....and so it was ...The Picpoul was good...I wont say how many bottles.....always consistent and not too expensive and the food good ...fish cakes could have been slightly warmer. Service good and attentive including from a gentleman who has to be one of the tallest people I have ever met ...I think he told us his height but I confess I do not exactly recall and dont want to go over the top, but he was charming as were the other waiters. A good addition the City restaurants.
We had a large business meet organized at this place. it has quite good facilities and serves excellent food. Nice hospitality
