Stopped in to pick up some torchettas for my sister and nephew! Very clean inside, All items homage, and baked on site! Everything in Cades looked very good! Business has been around for as long as I can remember and has always put out top quality baked goods! If you have a appetite for some cookies or fresh breads, this is the place to stop! You will be back! View all feedback.
What America Rodriguez doesn't like about Cle Elum Bakery:
I typically do not post reviews online, even for subpar service, but the recent experience at this establishment has prompted me to share. I typically do not post reviews online, even for subpar service, but the recent experience at this establishment has prompted me to share. My 7-year-old daughter picked up a t-shirt to examine it and neatly folded it back where she found it. However, an elderly woman working there rudely threw the shirt in front of us. Shocked by the disrespect, we left immediately. Our children are well-behaved, and we always ensure they follow rules in public places. Such behavior is unacceptable, especially in customer service. It is clear that this woman, who may be the owner, is not suited for this role. We will not be returning and recommend going to Pioneer Coffee for better service.
The ambiance is pleasant and I like that they have organic honey, jams, and dressings available for purchase. However, we were disappointed with the burned apple fritters, mediocre coffee, and dry breakfast burritos. In addition, there were very limited vegetarian options on the menu, with the only choice being donuts.
Yummy! Our family always stops at this restaurant to buy their delicious and heavenly cookies when we travel over the pass.
Zimtbrot was very, very good. had visited a laaf. roasted and crushed in butter is the only one to go away.
I really wanted to like this place, seems like a small town bakery with top quality goods would thrive here. And it is...except with pretty average goods. The best are definitely the donut type items. Cookies were large grocery store baked section quality, with a higher price. A wrap was described as thoroughly average'. Kind of seems like a shop designed to liberate dollars from traveling Seattleites, and for that, it is perfect.
