Booked for Sunday lunch pre match as choice of restaurants was more limited on a Sunday. What a find. Huge portions but we still managed an excellent prune dessert. Service was a little swift as our food arrived before we had drunk our ape... View all feedback.
What Eladio Connelly doesn't like about Le Caveau de Pascal et Francis:
Pleasant decor, decorated for New Year's Eve. The menu, written on a chalkboard, offered plenty of choice and the chance to sample local cuisine. Very good tender meat (maturation very long) and delicious trufade but roots atmosphere (sale, deco spartate, slightly caracteristic pattern). To avoid in couple for romanticism to deprivilege rather a group of friends.
Restaurant bcp too expensive. the quality of the meat is good but it is very simply prepared, just cooked in a pan and in too large quantity. .gaspillage assured.Truffade good but not worth 25 euros !!!! and which cuts 20 euros if you don't take scutters !bref I won't return there.
Surprised by the entrance pass the door the continuous surprise seen the prices of the map one wonders or the owner has invested but probably not in this place yes a cellar accommodated about twenty places with a very versatile cooker because it makes all alone kitchen and service low hat because it is a simple but good truffle and tripes for me by and dry ham and truffade for my wife( 25€ the dish)on indicated to us
I have heard of a Truffade before on many of my recent trips to France. But Cyril was kind enough to find a very well hidden traditional restaurant for us to have dinner after a long day in the office. We both work with cheese so it was only appropriate . This restaurant is tucked away but has the friendliest atmosphere & the food is great. Check it out if your in the area...
Very cosy traditional restaurant in a cave Highly recommended if you like meat and truffade! Located in the center of Clermont... really lovely place and ... Welcoming owners
