What Zach Harrison doesn't like about Maison Du Bootlegger Restaurant Club des Monts:
we arrive for a very nice visit of the house and decide to stay lunch we tell him to the guide and to the welcome we wait 30 minutes before something happens and indeed they are people who arrive after us who have a tablefinally 2:00 later we come out having eaten a grilled sausage and short smiling: well for those who have the patience to wait very long! This place is awesome! So rich in history! The food is amazing and the guided tour is great to learn a little history and to see how they did it back in the days!
A must see!! Out of the ordinary and super fun bar !! The band is great shows they love what there doing and the deco of the bar is great ! Not to miss
Went here with some friends mid-afternoon after looking for interesting places to visit in La Malbaie. Initially we were very excited for the tour and cocktails, as the place upon arrival was very intriguing, however, there was no English speaking guide when we arrived. We were visiting over Quebec 's Construction Holiday, so understood that they may be short staffed, but would have thought there may have been some sort of self-guided English tour. We stayed for drinks anyways. It appeared as though everyone else in the bar were served before us, even though we arrived first. We felt like this place has potential, but were left under the impression that they were busy enough to change much to accommodate tourists from other provinces. Would still recommend a visit, but call ahead to ensure tours in English are available. Glad that we went for the afternoon and did not pre-book the dinner and show as we were not made to feel overly welcome.
Has to be the most over priced meal i ever had in my 55 yrs of living and the coldest i ate in any restaurant
