The food is excellent, and the woman who took my order over the phone today, I believe her name is Kellie, was very sweet and friendly. I highly recommend this place! View all feedback.

We went to visit on Easter Sunday, and while every place was closed this place was open and, it was not entirely our first choice, I've never really been there and it was close enough to where we were but after I ate there, I will definitely make an attempt to return, I say this a lot in my reviews but because it's an important detail: friendly, and caring staff. The person who took our order was very lovely, she was making sure everything was good for us, if there was anything we needed, and making sure we had a pleasant time, so props to her.The food was excellent, fresh, very, very hot, and amazing and cooked without any damaging or burning to the food, I recommend the Mushu Combination (Chicken, Pork, Scallops, Mushrooms, Shrimp and 4 pancakes/tortillas) for 14.75, a great deal for what you're getting, we got a mountain pile on our plate and it was fantastic, you may need a to go container if you're like me, it's worth bringing home and eating, but the atmosphere is also quite nice to just enjoy sitting down and eating. The pot stickers and egg rolls and crab rangoon were good, too.I can not say enough praises to this establishment, I loved my food and can't wait to eat there again.Thank you, Phoenix Asian Restaurant, for the wonderful service.
The good: Both beef and chicken I tasted were tender. Beef obviously were marinaded ahead of time. Take outs were well packed. Both lunch and dinner portions were good. A dinner portion could serve two. The egg roll was decent. The owners, the older couple, were alright when I picked up my food unlike other reviewers mentioned. They were just a bit awkward and direct to interact with using the midwest culture standards. The bad: Kung Pao Chicken had too much fluid in it. That single wonton in the wonton soup was bad. It was all wrapper with minimal fillings. Takeout instruction was not followed (no chopsticks). No utensils unless requested. Similar to another reviewer's experience, my fried rice also had a weird smell. Similar to another reviewer's experience, the sweet and sour sauce was like strawberry lemonade.Overall, as food's quality in a competing Chinese restaurant down the street went downhill, Phoenix was about the same level as that one.

The food was excellent—quickly served, hot, and fresh. Despite some concerns about gluten, they offered a vegetable dish with a white sauce that was made without wheat. It was delicious, and the rice was equally tasty. The dish included water chestnuts, celery, mushrooms, onions, and carrots. It was very vegan and truly enjoyable.
This restaurant is fantastic, featuring a warm and welcoming staff! The owner, Shaomin, is wonderful, and the food is incredible. The egg rolls are one of my favorite dishes on the menu!
