I always say that it's most convenient having a cafe to pickup even a light meal, a coffee, tea, or cold drink in a large place where you're likely to spend some time at like a cinema or large exhibition. The Queenstown Story at the Cobh Heritage Centre is one such place. It's lovely sitting there sipping your cuppa in the beautifully restored old Cobh Railway Station platform. Mind you, the food is basic, tea, coffe... View all feedback.

We have visited this restaurant for years and normally are full of praise for it. Unfortunately due to an extremely rude staff member who refused to let a year old child use the toilets it will be our last visit View all feedback.
The restaurant has a small menu that includes toast, soup, cakes, and tarts. The food is tasty and affordable, and the staff is friendly. However, it would be nice if they cleaned the tables more often. It's possible that they were busy because of a cruise ship being docked today.
Located within the Cobh Heritage Museum, this small cafeteria offers self-service with all food being homemade. I tried the "spiced cauliflower soup" and found it to be delicious. The seating area is in the front of the museum and provides a nice atmosphere with plenty of natural light and space. Overall, it was a very pleasant dining experience.

I had a superb flat white here and a delicious cake. Very yummy. Nice setting inside the museum with the posters all around.
Saw some of the negative comments on this forum but for me the food, hot drinks, location and self service were all very good. Decent selection of snacks, scones, wraps, salad, soup and pastries. We had missed breakfast and needed a quick snack at noon...to tide us over. Large sausage roll for me and scones and tea for the girls fitted the bill...great value and nice setting in the booking hall area of the old railway station...
