The first time to eat here and what a wonderful time we had. only we 2 loved the design and the interieur of cst. the staff was very helpful, attentive and friendly - the food was delicious! we loved it
We were there last Wednesday, and I can't do better than cite what my wife published on her Facebook profile about our visit. the chief of the church street tavern never surprises me and enthuses me. I always forget how tasty this is until we go after a longer abnormality. Whether it's about the tasted lenses and garlic on tiny toast as a free pre-dinner bite, the homemade brot with butter, or the baked alaska, honeycomb, and nougat for dessert, everything is a taste ritual on the back. last night was steak night and rain webb went for the rump with tomatoes/Majo-Relish (a fresh tomato concoction) and chips with rocket salat. steaks are always paired with the wine of the evening. he was very happy. I had plage with garnel, capern and wide beans, which swim happy together in a buttery olive oil and crumble sauce. that and with a side of new kartoffels and new spring onions, also buttery, I was a happy camper. I can't remember loving a restaurant, and I make those people.
The staff was welcoming and the beer selection was great. I really enjoyed my time at this restaurant.
Came here for dinner on a Friday date night with my wife. Absolutely blown away by the food, especially at this price point. Friendly staff and great service too. Extensive selection of wines for circa £30 a bottle, available by the glass, carafe, or bottle. Our new regular for sure. 3 courses each and two bottles of wine...£125
Beautiful restaurant, with loads of atmosphere and delicious food. Prices reflect the quality of food and service, so not cheap but well worth a visit
