Contribute Feedback Was Mark S at Colorado Mountain Brewery at the Roundhouse a mag?
We made the reservation. We went in 2 hours before to make sure it was good. I told them we were bringing a 94 woman with a walker. We need to be sure there was a place to store it. We arrived, they wanted to give us a high top. I re-explained a 94 year old woman with a walker. Then they wanted us to go outside. Again I restated the situation. They then tried to blame me for not putting it in the reservation. I said... View all feedback.
What Mike dislikes about Colorado Mountain Brewery at the Roundhouse:
The pepita salad with salmon is usually very good. The salmon was over cooked to the point of crispy and the portion was very small. The Southwest wrap was dry and boring. Service was great. View all feedback.
The menu was pretty awesome, and I in no way want this to be a reflection of the amazing food.
7/23 The restaurant was surprisingly empty for being right on a main road by Pikes Peak and Manitou Springs We were seated right away.
Overpriced for mediocre food and service. Good location, ambience OK.
Booked an early dinner, wanted to check this place out for a while. Having read some of the reviews, I was a little reluctant, but we were promptly seated. Ordered drinks, the bar was a little slow, but nothing to complain about. My wife ordered the steak salad, which was good. I ordered the prime burger and sweet potato fries and a salad. Burger was really good, two patties cooked to order, they brought fries instead of the sweets, but they corrected the mistake and the sweet potato fries were tasty. Would have been better hot. The salad was fresh with two big strips of bacon. Overall the food, service and ambiance of the restaurant was between fair and good. Might give them another shot, but wouldn't rush back.
Great food. Great staff. The experience was fantastic and so was the good.
