We 've been to lobster pounds all week from Lottery to Bar Harbor and between, and feel like we have our taste buds tuned. Makris was fine for what it is: a fine-value seafood restaurant. I ordered the baked seafood combo plate and chose shrimp and haddock for my two selections. The shrimp were overdone and tough and the haddock was somewhat dry. The mashed potatoes were very good and the garlic herb cauliflower was excellent. We had a wonderful meal in makris this afternoon. I had the baked squid and the man had roasted squid. what I like best is the size of the portions. I'm not a big eater to order the little one is great and I can finish the whole meal. our server donna was friendly and attentive. the food was so good and although it is a drive for us, I look forward to our next visit.
As a performer and as a customer, I am treated super and they are some of the best foods. I eat all over the world and still keep makris high. great atmosphere on everything else.
