Barzura - Coogee

Delightful and casual lunch spot. Not too formal or complicated and the view over the bay is gorgeous especially on a sunny day.The meals are pretty stock standard, but very nice. There were 11 in our party, and everyone was happy with their meal. I had the fish and chips and this was lovely. Not overfried or too much batter. They are also licensed and have a good selection of wines and cocktails.The service was pretty good too.

Enjoyed an outstanding lunch with my spouse. We sat at an outside table overlooking the surf at Coogee beach. Service was excellent. There is a large choice of dishes and desertsee. Plan to come back again while in Sydney

Six of us booked here for dinner on a Friday night and it was lovely to see a good crowd filling the restaurant. We quite often eat here as it is local and always has great service and food.On this occasion the service did not disappoint and neither did the food for five of us. Unfortunately, I chose a dish from the specials menu “spicy seafood soup” which really didn’t match the usual quality. Yes, it was spicy and there was seafood – five mussels and two clams – however, 50% of the dish was tofu, which was not mentioned on the menu. I kept checking through it but no other seafood appeared. At $30 ($25 if you do not have the accompanying glass of sake) I felt that it was not good value; a $15 entrée price would have been more reasonable. My disappointment was sent to the chef and the cost of the dish was removed from our bill. Their gain was that I ordered dessert as still hungry Will still remain loyal, but will avoid that menu option in future!

Fidandomi delle recensioni e del fatto che era uno dei ristoranti convenzionati con l'hotel, ho deciso visto anche la bella giornata di pranzare in questo locale. Il mio fish burger era davvero ottimo, non avrei messo il cavolo ma questo è un gusto personale. Servizio buono ma difficilmente ci imbattiamo in problemi con il personale in Australia. Prezzi non economici ma proporzionati al tipo di servizio. Locale carino ed informale con vista sulla coogee bay.

Came here twice on my visit and found the service and food to be really good. they managed to squeeze two of us in last minute on one occasion as the place was really busy. Felt like we received great service though and the veggie salads were amazing. Really enjoyed this place.
