Fit us in on NYE at the last minute, very accommodating and great service. Conflicting views on quality of food from our table I really liked the sliders however some others weren't as impressed. Tacos were a hit however the crumbed chicken was no good! Bruschetta delicious, cocktails yummy too, looks like it was a good NYE party based on the mess we saw in there on the NY day coffee run! 5 Sawyers has the best cocktails in Newcastle. There is a wide range of cocktails and good food. The only down side is the service is slow and crowded on the busier nights. Not always a spot to sit which is disappointing. Sundays and Wednesdays cocktail specials are a treat, otherwise pricey. View all feedback.
I want to express my gratitude to Karen and the rest of the staff for last night! They made my 21st birthday dinner and drinks absolutely amazing. They were so accommodating and helpful. The food was amazing and the cocktails were incredible. The service was top-notch and we all enjoyed the atmosphere. Thank you again!
I recently visited this great little restaurant for the first time last night. The drinks were reasonably priced and they had fantastic musicians like Shaun Kirk performing in an intimate setting that wasn't overcrowded. I would give the entire experience last night a perfect 10/10 without any exaggeration.
Newcastle's best spot! The owners are fantastic, the drinks are exceptional, and the ambiance is incredible!
Great atmosphere on a Sunday night with a good live band. Had the melt sandwich thing which was great. 2 for one cocktails Sunday too would be good to get into. Friendly staff too and just the right degree of business.
Came here with me partner and his parents. The cocktails at the place are amazing ! Wow the WEIS BAR is my absolute favourite of all time. Yum!
