Cafe Taberna Ortega - Córdoba

At 8:15 pm, we were the only people in the restaurant so the service was wonderful. I had a sirloin steak with french fries and it was excellent--cooked to order. Spouse had Pork Tenderloin and it was very good. We shared an asparagus dish and I have never seen such large asparagus. I was surprised that they were very tender and enough for two people.

A group of us had lunch here after visiting the mosque, normal Spanish food, omelettes etc, but I particularly enjoyed the aubergines in honey. Generous portions too. Average prices.

We found this small nice place when walking from the old city towards the shopping area. Very authentic spanish also the pricing! Very good tostadas we had Sobresada and Pate. Service awesome. Highly recommended.
