Once again a decent flatwhite and cakes. Service a touch slow, but we weren't in any rush and hey its a popular place because its good! Large carpark to the front and side with outdoor seating to the rear and front. Note, I would always enter and exit the carpark at the entry on the straight as its easier to spot traffic. What Cynthia D doesn't like about Hells Mouth Cafe:
I would like to add to my friend's review. I found the price of £4 for a small scone and butter to be outrageous. We live nearby and meet for coffee weekly, always choosing to support local coffee shops/cafes. I can confidently say that we will be driving past this restaurant in the future and instead stopping at the popular cafe in Godrevy, just half a mile further. View all feedback.
My partner and I discovered Hells Mouth by chance while in the area, and I'm so glad we did. The food was fantastic, with a variety of options including full English breakfast and vegetarian dishes. Despite the busy atmosphere, the wait for our food was short and our drinks arrived promptly. I particularly loved the cream tea. I would definitely recommend this restaurant and hope to visit again in the future, especially with such a stunning view.
The restaurant is very welcoming and offers great value. The food is delicious, especially the breakfast brunch! The coffee is excellent and I was happy to see they offered oat milk.
£21 for three cream teas. Nicely presented by a friendly staff member but inside wasn’t the greatest atmosphere and the place looked like it needed redecorating, it just looked a bit shabby and cramped. Where I sat on the table my backside was almost directly at another persons eye level due to the positioning of the chairs. This was a bit awkward!! The scones and tea were tasty but sorry they were not worth £7 per person even taking into account their overheads !

My friend I want to Hell's Mouth cafe this afternoon, for a coffee, decided to have a plain scone each too. It was my friend's turn to pay. For two coffees two scones it was over £14, which we queried, as we thought it was extortionate. Although tasty, but not that big for the price, it wouldn't have been as bad if it had included jam cream. When the coffee latte arrived, it wasn't very hot, I didn't like to send it back as we'd already asked about the price. Very disappointing shan't be visiting again.
