Contribute Feedback What Grace Campbell likes about Dobbies Garden Centre:
I have always enjoyed dining at Dobbies in Cirencester, but sometimes I have found it to be lacking. Not today. The service at the cafe around noon was quick and efficient. It was even better at the checkout, where our slightly complex payment with cash, vouchers, and discounts was handled with the utmost courtesy. After bringing my car around, another employee immediately approached me and returned the car to the de... View all feedback.
What Lindsay Reynolds doesn't like about Dobbies Garden Centre:
This was my first visit to Dobbies, as they will be opening one near where I live later this year. We ordered online through Facebook and booked a table in advance. We waited for several minutes after being seated before a server came over to take our drink order. Had simply the beautiful afternoon tea in the restaurant. the staff can't do enough for us and eating was beautiful. lizzy our waitress looked at us really well and made the whole trip wonderful. we had both the sweet and hearty tees (with the most tasty wobbles ever had something they loved. a real tasty bite. in any case recommend.
As a long-time customer, I am disappointed to see this restaurant decline so rapidly. There was once great potential here, with freshly made cakes and a charming breakfast buffet, along with friendly staff. However, during my recent visit, I was left very disappointed. The hostess seemed uninterested, the food arrived cold and unappetizing, and the scrambled eggs were strange. My coffee was lukewarm and had bits of ground coffee floating in it. It all felt rushed and lacked the effort I once experienced here. This is my second bad experience, and I hope it will be the last. I write this as a loyal customer, urging the restaurant to step up their game and regain the charm it once had. Otherwise, there are plenty of other places to spend money on in the area.

I will not be visiting this restaurant again. Hopefully, the one near my home will have better service when it opens.
Eye-poppingly gargantuan afternoon tea on Mothers Day. Great service from Pam. Satisfied mother in law. Very nice setup, comfortable seating and welcoming decor. We’ll worth the money.
Booked a surprise high tea birthday for at Cirencester Mum was and family had come from around the country to surprise her. The table was beautiful set up so nicely with flowers and a table cloth. It was near the back. so in...the area where we could see the outside playground . It was very light and sunny with the plant area behind it. It was perfect. First the hot drinks came kids with the luxurious hot chocolates and adults with specialty tea and coffees The lovely Lizzie came out with the high teas starting (which was so nice) with the birthday girl who is a vegan. Next came the kids with teddy bear cut sandwiches and fresh fruit amongst other things and then the adults. All on three tiered plates. It looked so fancy. Delicious sandwiches of salmon cheese and cucumber with many small cakes not to mention the massive scones !! Which came with clotted cream and jam of course. Lizzie kept checking on us and even took a group photo for us (she offered we didn’t even ask). What a triumph of a day. Fantastic service lovely food and brilliant Lizzie made a birthday to remember. Thank you so much
