Istanbul Resturant - Coventry

We're not sure why we've kept coming back to this restaurant, as the experience is always so inconsistent. Tonight, our kebabs were cold and there was no difference between the large and small portions. Most of the time we're given tiny pieces of meat that are mostly fat, and the service is always rude. We won't be returning again.

This restaurant is a scam. I ordered delivery and paid online, but they cancelled my order and demanded cash on delivery. They wouldn't deliver unless I paid in cash or reordered online. They even falsely claimed I cancelled my order and drove to my address to deliver it. I have evidence to prove their dishonesty. It's disappointing that a restaurant we used to trust has stooped to such unethical practices for extra money.

I ordered takeout from this restaurant and I have to say it was the worst kebab I've ever had. We ordered the king size, but I shudder to think what the normal size would be like. The salad only had lettuce, onion, and half a slice of tomato. The pita bread was tough like cardboard, and the meat was a huge disappointment - just 2 pieces of chicken, a bit of doner meat, and a small portion of sheik kebab. There were only 2 pieces of pepper and 2 slices of onion. However, the pizza was delicious. I will not be returning to this restaurant.

Chips cold and tasteless Pitta the most basic 4” Lidl or Aldi Lamb was not lamb Questionable £20+ very poor All this took nearly an hour to arrive Never visit this establishment again

Ordered lamb doner. Obviously used decent lamb meat, tastes amazing unlike most doner meat. Chilli sauce was homemade with perfect level of heat and the salad was very fresh. Took the order quickly and food served within minutes. Wish I lived local!
