What Bill N doesn't like about Galia Chef:
I live in Mexico so I wanted to try something besides mexican food while in CDMX. The appitiser had chorizo and while I didn't expect the lamb in mole to be anything close to french I did expect more than a bone and a lot of grissel maybe an once and a half of edible meat.

After a morning of touring beautiful Mexico City my travel friend and I decided to walk thru Roma and Condesa. By 11am we discussed a bite to eat and more importantly a glass of wine. WOW! To our surprise as we approached the corner, Galia Chef... Windows open, delightful music and a warm smile greeted us. We took a table inside, in front of a large open window, memories of Paris came to mind. Before I realized almost an hr and half had passed. There is a large selection of wine available, I enjoyed a few glasses of Mexican Viognier while my friend toured thru different Mexican reds. Lunch was delightful.... Thank you to the staff of Galia for creating a forever lasting memory.
Galilaos Chef made a beautiful omelette looked good tasted even better it’s in a nice location beautiful building and a bonus the staff that served me could speak very good English as my Spanish is non existent haha
My sons and I come here at least once a month. Always get the Paris baguette and today tried the fondue. If in the area and want to enjoy a nice glass of wine, good simple French food in a pet friendly place, try it out.
