I would walk past here almost daily, on the way to Chapultepec park, and I think I stopped every day at least once. There 's a pair of stall/restos here, and they are both very very *VERY* good. You can 't go wrong with either, but if I had to pick, I 'd say this one is a *shade* better, but that 's only 'cos I have to pick. Seriously, you can 't go wrong with either. Note however, these are VERY FRIED Gorditas. Exceptionally good, very inexpensive, and very very very fried. Be sure to slather on the salsa, it 'll get a good sweat going, but boy howdy, does it make the flavor pop!

The lovely lady running the stall and making the gorditas was always very friendly. They are made to order and you can add your choice of salsa and extras. At 12 pesos each, they are great value and so satisfying. Go in and sit down if the weather isn't great, try and few kinds. but if the weather is perfect, take a couple and walk the few blocks to the park.
