Asador - Dallas

We had an absolutely delicious lunch at this restaurant. Four of us went after a couple of long days of meetings and travel, and we all really enjoyed everything that was served to us. The pork belly and Shrimp and Grits were particularly outstanding. The server even offered us a place to store our luggage where we could keep an eye on it, as we were on our way to the airport. We will definitely be returning next time we are in town.

The food at this restaurant was fantastic. My favorite dish was the pork belly grits. I appreciated the variety of options available for breakfast and brunch on the weekends. Our server, Ruben, provided exceptional service during our visit. In terms of kid-friendliness, there are good breakfast options for children as well.

The Thanksgiving dinner at this restaurant was delightful, served buffet style. While it may not have been as large as other dinners I've attended, there was plenty of delicious food to enjoy. The turkey was some of the best I've ever had, tender and juicy. The sides and casseroles were also excellent, including sausage stuffing, green bean casserole, mashed potatoes, roasted vegetables, and a nice touch with lobster macaroni and cheese. The prime rib was cooked rare and was tender. The only slight disappointment was the dessert selection, which included apple crumble, small pecan tarts, pumpkin mousse in chocolate cups, and macarons.

We enjoyed a Thanksgiving buffet here and were pleasantly pleased. It's always hard to keep the integrity of food under hot carving table lamps and on a buffet line, but they managed to do it and do it well. All our food was tasty and nothing on the menu was too over the top. Just good turkey and prime rib, stuffing, green beans, and a lovely salad station. We had wine also which was a little pricey). Service was attentive and they even threw in complimentary valet. This may be the last time we wreck our kitchen and slave over hot stove on Thanksgiving. It was a treat!

Reviews look great, however the experience is disappointing. Expect to see some hotel guests coming down to eat in their tank tops and flip flops. The service feels rushed and not caring at all. The wine selection is mediocre at most. For the money you can find a place that would be way better in every category.
