The Playa Takeria is indeed a good choice, which is also confirmed by the previous customers with an average assessment of 3.

What Rebeka Kolár likes about Playa Takeria:
I actually tried this restaurant because the place I was originally trying to visit was completely fully booked for the night, and thankfully I was very pleasantly surprised! Tacos were genuinely some of the best I've eaten and the veggie nachos were huge and very tasty. Spicy margarita was good, but not the best in Sydney. Service was friendly but it seemed like the woman's first ever day as a waitress, although I'm... View all feedback.

What Rosita Heinze doesn't like about Playa Takeria:
Horrible food: stale corn chips, stringy and dry meat, bland guacamole, boring salsa (only onion and unripe tomato bits). This was really the most tasteless and uncreative meal I've ever had. I am appalled that these cretins can pretend to serve the best Mexican in Sydney and charge so much for it. There was just no flavour - no lime, coriander or chilli. The corn chips were like cardboard - stale, bendy, chewy and s... View all feedback.

The place is tiny as are the rables. We sat outside on a fresh May night as the music was too loud inside. We both had burritos which were huge. Despite the requ...

"Good selection of options throughout the Asian range with vegetarian options that can be vegan, except the Burnt Butter Cauliflower. We sat outside, which is quite beautiful, allies of restaurants in Crows Nest are set up for it. The interior seats are available at some tables and some benches. Good food, we enjoyed the dishes, the Tamarind Curry had a very nice taste, creamy with a hint of sour. The mushrooms stir fry was also very nice. Spring rolls and dumplings were good. Well, that there is a vegan Gf option in the Entrees. Updated by previous review on 2022-01-17"

"Really nice cafe and bar with friendly staff and lots of dogs.  The coffee wasn't bad although had a rather unusual flavour but the food really stood out.  Fairly standard breakfast fare but with twists like lots of sambal and hash and my bowl had a whole potato and half an avocado."
