Contribute FeedbackThe restaurant in question seems to have had mixed reviews. Some customers found the service lacking due to being busy, with issues in accommodating special requests and high prices for small portions. Others experienced long wait times but reasonable prices, though they found the food quality lacking. Despite being in a prime waterfront location, the slow service and average food left some patrons feeling underwhelmed. However, positive points mentioned included a great tasting menu, friendly staff, tasty food, and a fantastic view of the waterfront. It seems that while some may have been disappointed, others found it to be a must-visit spot in Darwin for delicious food and great service. Overall, the restaurant offers a variety of experiences, with some diners enjoying their visit more than others.
The restaurant is located on the waterfront past most of the other restaurants, so the location could not be better. The service and food was OK (but nothing special), so all in all, this was a fairly forgettable eating experience.
Took my son for lunch midweek on a typical Darwin day Could have stayed there all day Ordered a number of starters which we shared with a couple of beers watching the water and people go by.Food tasty and staff friendly can see why it's rated highly. Will go back
The food was ok very small potions, drinks took forever to arrive and service was poor to say the least. Over priced and not worth the effort
They were very busy so service was not really good. Our waitress was very good but ran off her feet. Found it very hard to select a choice that did not have an ingredient that did not want. Asked to omit part of the dish but were told that it was not possible e,g corianderqqqqqqqqq. Very expensive for the small amount of food. The Mixed grill would have been an ok size for a child: had hard boiled egg ,plus steak was very small, piece of bacon, and potato. If you served this up to a truckie he would have thrown it back! Presentation was good.
If you plan on having the tasting platter ( 2 people minimum) be sure you are hungry! Excellent food and a great way to try combinations one might not normally order. The offerings vary with the season but the gin infused salmon alone would have made the visit worthwhile. A great position at the waterfront and we were able to enjoy the cooling breeze off the water and from the fans whilst watching an awesome electrical storm light up the night sky. There is an inside dining option as well. Service was efficient and friendly which enhanced a most enjoyable evening.
