Zest at Novotel Atrium - DARWIN CITY

We ate here for a few days while we stayed at Novatel. The food was always good, especially the buffet breakfasts, amazing!! The waiting staff very freindly and helpful, and the supervisor, Suman, exceptional! Thanks alot!

Staying at the Novotel, I was pleased to find I could come home from the day's business, have a wine at the friendly bar then progress to the ambience of the lovely patio area of the restaurant. The service was excellent, efficient without too much rush but leaving plenty of time to return to the room and plan for next day.The sizzling prawns one night and the encrusted barramundi another were both excellent. Accompanying wine, by the glass, and suggested by staff was good quality and matched food well.

The steak sandwich was the best that I have had I usually stay away from them because the steak is on the chewy side when I have been to other places The service in the bar area is fantastic and throughout the hotel.

It is situated in the foyer of the Novotel overlooking parklands. There was a good variety of menu options and the staff were very pleasant. The food is well presented but has no pretensions about being upmarket or trendy.

Looked forward to eating out on the balcony but that appears to be not an option anymore. The starter and mains were not up to their usual standard at all. We will try next time for breakfast as that used to be good.
